Cynthia is from the Nuu-cha-nulth, Gitxsan, and Kwakiutl nations. The traditional name that was given to her from Nuu-cha-nulth is “Hacum Tu-wit-la sup” meaning “Queen by the waterfalls”. Her Gitxan name is “Nugh-Jowlst” meaning “Mother of High Chief” and her Kwakiutl name is “Poot-las” meaning “You never leave my house hungry”.Cynthia Rayner is the owner and principal at First Nations Management Consulting which offers the following services: Organization Evaluation and Restructuring, Marketing, Economic Development, Project Development, and Proposal writer/ facilitator.
